Barry Cryer OBE is more than a comedy writer and performer, he is a living comic legend!
As a TV and Radio performer he has been a mainstay of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue for more than 35 years, but his incredibly quick wit has seen him as a regular favourite on many panel games including Jokers Wild, Blankety Blank, Give us a Clue, That's Showbusiness and Just a Minute. He has also acted in numerous television comedy shows and, as a champion of emerging talent, he hosted the BBC's Stand Up Show.
On stage, Barry appeared in the successful West End run of A Saint She Ain't, two tours of one-man shows and, with Willie Rushton, Two Old Farts In The Night.

Barry has written material for an amazing list of comedians, starting with Danny La Rue and including Morecambe & Wise, Tommy Cooper, Frankie Howerd, Kenny Everett, Les Dawson, and many more. During a long association with ATV, he also wrote for Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, Richard Pryor and dozens of other stars.
Barry has also scripted sitcoms, including Doctor In The House.
An exceptional after-dinner speaker, Barry will entertain with tales of his extraordinary career and the comedy legends with whom he has worked, on top of which he pens an ode for each occasion.
