Howard’s composing credits range from TV themes such as Blackadder, Vicar of Dibley and MR Bean to musical theatre (including The Hired Man, Girlfriends) to numerous choral and classical pieces. His passion for music in education is well documented and he does much to support music-making in schools both publicly and personally. In January 2007 he was appointed as 'ambassador' to lead a National Campaign for Singing. Howard has a regular series on BBC Radio 2.
